Overview

For Season 4 of Netflix’s You, production designer Kevin Phipps didn’t simply find London locations, he reimagined and rebuilt major parts of the city from scratch. Working across the stages and backlot at WBSL, the art department created an entirely heightened version of London, including the cobbled Mews street, Joe’s apartment interiors built back-to-back on stage in a striking Rear Window-style configuration and the members’ club, Sundry House. For production, the benefits were significant: by bringing major locations into the studio, shooting days could be extended while reducing the need for large-scale location work across London.
